History of Rager, Lehman & Houck, P.C.

Rager, Lehman & Houck, P.C. and its predecessors have been in operation since 1943. Our Firm has three offices located in Hanover, Pennsylvania; Westminster, Maryland; and Frederick, Maryland.

Our Firm is a member of, but not limited to, the following:

Rager, Lehman & Houck, P.C. is an independently owned and operated regional public accounting firm with a national affiliation in the RSM McGladrey Network. One of the benefits received from this affiliation is the ability to bring national expertise to our clients in their hometown. We are able to offer our clients even more assistance in growing their businesses and reaching their financial goals. We have access to dedicated resources that monitor industry developments. These resources communicate regularly with our Firm on important issues affecting your industry to ensure that our client service personnel are well versed in issues affecting you.

A requirement for membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants is for the Firm to undergo a peer review of their auditing and accounting practice every three years. We have been a member of this organization since 1980 and have received nine peer reviews, all with unqualified reports. In our most recent peer reviews, we received no letter of comments, which only the top few percent of accounting firms achieve. In addition, our Firm has performed hundreds of peer reviews for firms throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Randy's unwavering commitment to RLH and our clients is, and will always be, evident in our outstanding reputation for quality and service. RLH has been shaped by his exceptional leadership and although he has left us, he left us stronger and better. As heirs to his labor and vision, the RLH team members are committed to following Randy's legacy of hard work and determination.
